Finger Licking Cute!!

I have always loved the cute and spunky styles of the Japanese street culture, but just when I thought that it couldn’t get better than their hair and clothing accessories ,  i found Kawaii Nails.  They’re sooo fresh and cute, it kinda makes me wish they were also edible!!

Whats also awesome is that you don’t have to go all the way to Japan to get these styles.  Check out http://www.kawaiinails.com and you can see which styles you want to rock!!

We all know how the economy is going and I’m sure we’re affected by it in some way or another. But whether it’s affecting us in a good way or a bad way, I believe it’s always important to save as much as you can for those rainy days, that trip you’ve always been wanting to go on, or for something that you’ve always wanted.  I don’t know about you, but I remember stuffing my piggy bank as a kid to save money and I’m starting to think it’s time to get another one.  Check out these fresh custom made piggy banks by eYeSR.

eYeSr's Piggy Troup

Born and raised in Anaheim California, Eyesr has spent most of his life doing street art known as Graffiti on the streets of  Southern California all the way to the borders of Canada.  With the high rise in crime and gang violence in the 80’s what kept Eyesr out of joining a gang was his love for art and hip hop and with most of his art on trains in his early years, he was able to expand his creative artistic views on different types of platforms ranging from walls and canvases to vinyl toys.

OBEY Ladies Night

OBEY Ladies Night

Last Friday, April 10th, OBEY hosted a Ladies Night at The Crosby in Down Town Santa Ana.  The night was crisp, the venue was tight, and the ladies were Fresh!   For the Ladies who arrived early they received an Obey tote bag which contained an Obey Spring Catalog, Spring edition of Foam Magazine, Obey stickers, Obey jewelry, and cds from the super ill super sick Female Djs: Dj Soluz and Dj Diosa who represented for the ladies that night!

The Crosby is an awesome lil joint which serves as a restaurant and bar.  With REAL old skool boom boxes shelved from wall to wall, an Obey piece hanging above the door, and sick music playing in the background, not to mention their fabulous menu.  FYI, you definitely have to try The Crosby Sunday!

Back to the ladies….

Dj Soluz

DJ Soluz founder of Anything Fresh is an Underground veteran of 15yrs +. She mixes up the classics, old school techno, jungle, dub, reggae, downtempo, old funk, hip hop, breaks and country so sicky you have to witness it for your self, then can you understand her mad style and sense of humor. Check her out at www.myspace.com/anythingfreshmusic

DJ Diosa

DJ Diosa currently residing in Southern California is an Arizona native.  Her wicked spin styles represent her love for “Punk Rock, Rockabilly, Country, Hip Hop, Top 40, Blues, Jazz, Disco, 80’s, Breakbeats, DnB, House, Dubstep, Electro, and most everything in between.” You can check out and download some of her mixes here: http://www.myspace.com/djdiosa

These two women are definitely on the top of My Favorite DJs List, not because they are women, but because of their love for music and how they flawlessly express their views on how the music plays in their beautifully twisted minds.  They definitely rocked the joint on Friday.  The place was Packed! People outside were in line waiting to get in, while the people inside were cheering and jumping with their hands in the air.  Be on the look out for more events featuring these amazing women, either individually or as a twisted duo.

Here are some more pictures that I took from that night.
